The S&H operates over an 11 mile stretch of track formerly owned by CN. We have a yard in Hillsborough and a siding in Salem.
Our railway post office car houses our gift shop and ticket office.

We have three engines: two operating diesels, 1754 (an MLW RSC-14), 8245 (an MLW S-12); and 1009, a preserved MLW 4-6-0 steam engine built in 1912.

Rolling Stock
We have equipment for two full trains, an excursion train (typically 3 cars) and a dining train (typically 4 cars). We also have various kinds of work equipment including a steam crane and a Jordan spreader.
